Hello !

My name is Dorin Cucicov. I’m a photographer and designer based in Romania. Although I’m not fully a part of these industries, I’ve made some strong steps in this direction.
Here I want to share my old knowledge and write about new stuff I’ve learned. For the moment I’m the main writer of the articles. So, Let’s get to the subject.

What kind of a blog is this ?

Be sure to find here the most fresh inspiration and resources you need to improve your vision about photography. I will cover all kind of photography related topics and from time to time I will drop some non-photographic works for inspiration.

The articles will be kept as short as possible and filled in with visual material (I don’t like reading long boring texts either). However, we will discuss some dilemmas in photography and will try to do some thinking over important photographic issues.

Who is this blog for ?

The articles are not intended only for photographers, as there will be no content filled with complicated technical terms. I will explain every single procedure used in photography and try to give you some basic clues on how to search about it on your own, if you want in-depth learning. Designers are welcome here as well, as they will surely find inspiration material for their creative work.

In the ‘tutorials’ section I will share some thechiques useful for everyone that has got a camera and wants to take the most out of his pictures. Fotofriend will also meet great photographers from around the world and we will talk a bit about their life and works.
